Trust, shut up please. I should't need an external program to open an image, period. For one it's stupid, two, it's a fucking waste of computer space, regaurdless of the size of the program.

#2: PDF is huge and ugly, and wastes my bandwidth.

#3: What the fuck does my internet browser have to do with a damn thing? I've used Firefox since I met iago.

#4: Macs suck.

#5: Macs suck.

Think before you post something like that.

Oh, we're sorry your computer doesn't come with a PDF viewer, but does everything else you need. Would you hate it if you had to download every codec so you could enjoy your MP3s, oggs, FLACs, m4as, etc? If you had to download xvid and divx for your video files? If you had to download libraries so you could run games?

pdf is the standard for printable documents, and many manuals are downloadable in .pdf format.

They're quite small, and they aren't ugly. In fact, I don't find many eBooks outside of .pdf format.

Macintosh is a small fraction of the total number of desktop computers in the world. If it's a standard in Mac, accept it.

Lossless PDF files are very very good quality. If it's an image, it's practically perfect.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

.CHM is quite common.

Lossless PDF files are very very good quality. If it's an image, it's practically perfect.

Who cares if it's good quality; you don't need perfect quality for a screenshot.

Is a screenshot a printable document, manual, or eBook?

I don't think he was saying he couldn't view the document either, Newby.  More like it was a shitty format to save a screenshot in (not that I care or anything).

Asside from that, Newby, none of us said that PDF's suck (though it seems Scr33n0r may have been implying that, I think he was speaking strictly about screenshots), we just said it's not a very optimized format for a screenshot.

that's Acrobat Reader not PDF

i use Foxit PDF Reader and it loads in about a second
Omg, you got a fact right! But still, 1.3 MB is rather large for a screenshot :P
lol. his PDF maker prolly sucks. maybe a PDF compressor could make the size smaller :P

The only reasonable way for it to be smaller is to reduce the quality, which could be done on a normal image as well.  :P
