CUPE 3909 is having a beginning of the year social event on Wednesday, October 5th, at 5:30pm. There will be free veagan friendly food from the Daily Bread Cafe, beer, wine, and non-alcholic beverages. We are also proud to present music from the 1919 Insurrectionary Orchestra, an acoustic duo who play grass roots revolutionary folk songs. There is no admission and members can bring a friend.

If you were hosting a "social event" (party), would you only serve vegean food? Personally, and I realize that you don't have "socials" in the rest of the world, but my favorite parts of "socials" is the free "social food".  Namely, bread, sandwich meat, cheese cubes, and pickles.  However, at a vegean-friendly one, it seems like I'd be eating pickles and bread.  Boo :(

When I have parties and crap, I don't get meat food... So in a sense yes. If nobody finishes it, it goes to waste, and my mom like kills if we waste food.
