Missouri sucks.  We get ice storms, and we always get below freezing. :(  And since I live extremly close to Kansas, I would say that they suck too. :D

I was born/raised in Wyoming... the wind was constantly blowing and we had a lot of snow every year (including an anual snowstorm in June!).  A few years we had 10'-15' drifts next to our house.  The weather sucked there.

Colorado's a lot more mild, much, much less wind.
