Yeah, the DB is pretty big.  I wonder if eliminating all old posts would help, but I don't wanna.

One day I'll buy a better computer, and migrade the DB to that.

Hmm... I'm curious as to how my server would run a database this big.  Would you mind zipping it up and sending it to me? :]
LOL!  Not gonna happen. ;)
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

It contains PMs and private board (leaders), though.. although I trust you, I don't think it's very appropriate.. :/

Oh yeah, haha.  Remove them! :)

Haha, it was more of a curiosity; it's more trouble than it's worth. :)

Yeah, exactly :P

And I'm sure it'll perform better than darkside, which is 433mhz/256mb ram :)

The only thing that doesn't run perfectly is a 20mb database.  Besides that, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

Sidoh, it would be simple to write a script that makes a large database for you, if you are that interested. Probably wouldn't take all that long.

But it wouldn't have the variability that a "used" forum database would have.  It was just a mild curiosity, no big deal.

I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Actually Joe, I'd never, never not upgrade that.  I stand by my stance.  That computer sucks and I'd never use it as a server.  It'd crap out for all the shit I use it for.

Maybe I'll stick in a nice STFU Joe here. :P

If you aren't running Windows, the power of a system takes on a whole new meaning.  You'd be surprised at how much can be done on a 433mhz box.
