I have a programming folder, and I have nothing of value there

Running with Code has a new home!

Sidoh

I haven't been there in a long while.  I never really became active there...

You're welcome for the useless information!

CrAz3D

Seems to be working rather normally now.

I spent the last 10 minutes or so there, and it worked fine.  Hmm!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Isn't Thing a badass sysadmin and not going to allow that, though? :(

That's the scary thing about a DDoS -- there's absolutely no way to prevent it.

Cisco claims to be able to prevent it. I wonder how well it works...

I saw a giant ad on the drive to San Francisco "Denial of Service -- Denied" or something like that.

It depends on how the DDoS works.  If it's exhausting alll your bandwidth, there's nothing you can do about it.  If it's exhausting your memory/cpu, then it can be prevented with the right technologies.

Yes, some IPS's can block it from memory-consumption.
