My school has a system called SchoolLoop which works pretty well; there are flaws, but it's constantly being developed so that good. It's also done by someone that was a former teacher so it's not like some random company. I wish you guys could see it :(. I think Quik's school might have it.

So... what does it do?

It's a place for teacher and students to communicate. It sends students daily e-mail with their homework in it (if their teacher posts it) (I have that shit turned off). It's also a place to discuss homework, but that's not used much :\.

We have a system sort of like that for Comp Sci/PC Maintence/Comp Prog. We each have an email account (Novell Groupwise, boo) and we can email our teacher.
