About 10 years ago, the Canadian dollar was the butt of most American jokes, because USD$1 was about CAD$0.56.  Your dollar was worth nearly twice what ours was worth.  However, in the last 8 years or so, the Canadian dollar has risen in value significantly, to the pont where USD$1 is ~CAD$0.88. 

So yes, your dollar is worth ours, but not by nearly as much as it used to.

Well, I have to get them out ASAP, so I don't have a chance to be picky.  I just have to hope that I can find a job with medical benefits.

Could a person really do that? I'm not sure what to do when tax time comes around, I'm going to have to read up on it.

That's lame. My Motorola V360 came with 64MB of memory and some crazy features, all for a very low price with contract signing. SLVR sucks =/
