I had Invisalign(sp?), it worked good.  You could take them out when you ate and brushed your teeth, about the same amount of time as braces just removable.

Screw the retainer. I didn't wear mine and my teeth are fine, except for one bottom tooth which is slightly crooked.

I just got my braces off.  I had them for 4.5 years and they were kind of annoying.  The worse part, for me, was getting them off..  I had so much blood in my mouth.. :(

Once you get them on you will have loads of fun trying to eat. :D  The food gets stuck in your braces and it's completely nasty. :)
