Name Alias History
« on: June 20, 2006, 01:23:42 pm »
I dont know if this has already been a topic or not.

Anyways where do your guys name stem from? Like did you just wake up one day and say,

Example:
"umm I think from now on in the world of the internet my name will be iago"

As for me. My name stems way back. I use to play Starcraft on battle.net almost everyday. One day I stumble upon a clan called clan deadly.  :-* The owner who which btw is a fat fuck. Tells me to make a name for the clan. So I make deadly010. Almost 2 years past before He decide to make Tags apart of the clan name. (D69) was the tag and he asked me to make one. So taking the 010 feature I deicde to make Zero and X. X meaing 10 in the roman numericals. I have been using this same name since 2001.

Funfact. Deadly7 was apart of this clan. So me and him go way back. Skeet Skeet.

Starcraft, mid-late 90s.  I started as DeathToMonkey...when I tried joinning clans my name was too long (east server now, started gaming on west) so I tried crazed, krazed, & finally CrAz3D.  And, uh, yeah, I use it EVERYWHERES!

My cousin and I were pretty close when we were in grade school and high school.  We, along with some friends, used to play starcraft and d2 a lot.  In d2, we decided to all make similar names and went with *tactical.  I didn't make this name until we got into DotA though.  Since then I've used it more than my previously primary alias (daryll ~= inside joke name + easy to spell/read/etc).

I use a completely different alias for AIM/a few other things simply because I've had it for as long as I've had a computer :).

I started out as mattrulz or mattrulz33 on Warcraft II. (My rl bestfriend was shawnrulz)

Then we started the clan jbi (just bring it) and I was leader and whatnot and since it was war2 I wanted something midevil...and I chose hismajesty. (Which is still in use at vL)

I joined Madz.tk (actually I applied for a staff position, which I got) as trustcofan33 (this was when I was in 8th grade and was a big fan of the band Trust Company) (by the way, the use of 3's is due to the lucky number of Cancer's (well one of the numbers) which is 3. It's also my favorite number)

Then I joined Clan Exile...but trustcofan33[xL] was too long and whack, so I shortened it to Trust[xL]. And here we are, 3 years later. Trust. :)

I chose GameSnake awile ago as a permanent name, my favorite animal is the Snake and of course I'm a Gamer, so I combined the two. I used to be -=Jo$h=- on battle.net but I thought the name was stupid.

Hmm.. I decided on Krazed11 as my first AIM screenname. Then I joined battle.net as krazed in like 1999, or 2000. Joined some clan called LtK (License to Kill) as {LtK}Krazed and it's just stayed since. Don't ask about the other aliases, we all know there was a lot. I think only iago has a list of all of them.
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.

Heh, LTK was my CS Clan. They were good until they started sucking.
The end.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

Wow, that made my dad.

Anyways, when I first started playing BW i went by the name tjh2000 (initials/year i started) for a few months.  Had a few aliases after that that I don't remember then joined Mystic.  Went by MysticBrolly for about 2 years.

After a year or so of Mystic being inactive, I started searching up 'original' names by /stats and came apon wires.  It has stuck with me for the past 4 years.  I also used the sticky caps because I used to think it was 1337. XD

Fun fact: me and deadly met up again in x86 4 years later after Mystic went 6 feet under.

Many years ago... (Like back when I was in the second grade)... I made the name ilubtofart, which was totally awesome.  As I began to mature, I began to realize how immature the name was. In addition, other people suggested I pick a new name.  I began a spree of making new names by flipping through a couple of library books (on drugs) looking for big or unfamiliar words.  I ended up playing a lot with Ergot so I stuck with it.
Who gives a damn? I fuck sheep all the time.
And yes, male both ends.  There are a couple lesbians that need a two-ended dildo...My router just refuses to wear a strap-on.
