First off: the best shot of me in the past 10 years (I'm wearing a pirate shirt!)

A shot of the Caribbean sea from our second place (on St John)

A shot of the Atlantic ocean from our second place (on St John)

A shot of the Atlantic ocean from the main balcony of our third place (the condo with internet!) on St Thomas.  It was a bit rainy that day, but it's nice now :P

Same thing, same place, but a little to the left.

This is one of the caves I went snorkling in on Norman Island

There are a hundred or so more pictures, but a lot of them suck.

Heh.  I like that last picture.  Is the water clean over there?

Uh...yeah.  I could see clear to the bottom from where the boat was (I took that picture from the boat, no docks around), which was about 50 feet down.  Inside the cave was about 15 feet down, but just as clear (with a flashlight).

Okay, shh.  The first place was Eco-Tents (some plywood, a couple two-by-fours, and some screening) for two nights.  We had two.  Total price for the first place: $120

Second place was a house-ish-y thing (outdoor stairs?).  It even had a fan!  It was a lot nicer than the first place.  We stayed for 5 days.  Total price $500.

Third place is a condo, quite nice.  Four days, $800.

That's not rich, you make almost that much in a week, IIRC, and you're still conservative.  Puzah.

CrAz3D

that last picture is absolutely gorgeous

maybe I'll have to add that to my "list of places to go eventually"

I also went to Jost Van Dyke (a BVI).  It was awesome.  (These are not my pictures).  I recommend getting a Pain Killer from the Soggy Dollar Bar (tasty drink :P)

I make enough to cover the condo in two weeks, and that's before taxes.  After taxes I can barely cover the cost of the second place.

I'd have to work like 3 months to pay for that....:(

I'm confused; I thought rich people were republicans, and nearly all republicans are conservative.

Anyways, back on topic. I hate you. I haven't ever been on a vacation.  Every year, my dad promises us (my brother, my sister, and me) a vacation, but he always gets too busy. On a side note, did you harpoon any fish or anything cool like that?
errr... something like that...

Old, rich, white people are republicans, generally.

Democrats try and appeal to the young, bold, poor-as-fuck crowd.

No, the rich kids are the liberal ones cuz they don't know how or why the real world works.

With the exception of Trust, who's a rich kid but conservative.  But I think he just got lucky with his upbringing.  He still doesn't know *why* the world works like it does, just how.  ::)

Oh yes, because all liberals are obviously misinformed about the world, where conservatives, on the other hand, realize how everything really is.   ::)

"Got lucky with his upbringing" -- hah, what a joke.  So in other words, he was conditioned from early childhood to have the same beliefs as you?

The only supported suggestion you seem to be making, (via observation), is that liberals tend to be more successful people than conservatives.  Hmmm.... perhaps their ideologies are not an after-effect of their success, but rather, a cause; I doubt many people substantially change their beliefs after around the age of 25.

Edit:  :)
