Avent Children Torrent?

I recently got a Bit Torrent of the Movie Advent Children. My friend put it up on his server and I just got it from there since I LAN at his house all the time. For some reason I open it in all my Media players and it will run just no sound? It works on his comptuer strangely enough with Windows Media player but when I do the same nothing. I know its not the sound card since Iam watching The matrix as I type this. But The movie most have been corupted or something it wont speak  :'(
