Why? He has a job. He's saving up to move out. If I could live at home while building up assets for moving out, I would. But I won't. My dad wants me out. :)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

thats what I was asking, if he has enough money & makes enough money to actually go out and buy his own place...not rent

Joe

My room is an ugly off-yellow/off-white combo. I hated it when we bought our house, but trust me, the walls are a whole lot more ugly when they're naked. I suppose I have more random junk than the normal human, but I've got posters / plaques / bookshelves / paintings covering at least 30% of my wall, then my desk and dresser (and the things on top of them) cover some more. Take my philosophy: if it looks bad, cover it.

You might be right about that, Joe.

No, not an apartment or somethin, I'm talkin about buying your own place.  You have a job now, you should start building your own life sometime
I don't have the credit I'd need to buy a house right now.  And I'd rather have disposable income than be making payments.  Disposable income is awesome.

that it is.

but thats why I was thinkin "buy a house".  I know it couldnt be big because you dont have credit, but if you start off small & start buildin your credit now, eventually you'll be able to get a decent house to live in/have a family in/die in/etc
