Reading through some of these topics I come to wonder what religious background some of you have.  Care to enlighten me?

Kaleeko

Not sure what exactly you mean by "background", but, I was raised in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, baptized and confirmed into it, still attend it every Sunday. My Dad is also a pastor, if that affects anything.

Born and raised in the Religious Society of Friends.  I went to a Friends' school.  I've had classes in Judaism/Christianity/Catholicism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Greco-Roman, and a mix class for Shintoism/Norse/Egyption/Native American religions.

Do you consider the word Quaker derogative?

Informal, but not offensive.

That almost makes it sound like you're not Angostic. :P

You might be right about that, Joe.

Born into a First Baptist family.  I attended church almost every Sunday. I was baptized in the church. In about fourth grade, my parents divorced, and I haven't attended church since.
errr... something like that...

Nate

First Baptist isn't really a denomination, try American, Southern, Seventh-Day or Independent. That is assuming you are in the US ofcourse, god help you if your Canadien baptist.

Appearances can be deceiving. So can I. I don't think anyone honestly knows what I believe, and that's probably for the best.

Heathen. Saying "God help you" and not capitalizing the G. What ought I do with you? :(.

Well, it'd be cool if you could answer just one question, and we'll leave you alone. Are we going to see you on the other side? ^_^.

Also, I nearly forgot the most important part of this topic! Me! I think it goes without asking that I was an agnostic from birth to age fourteen, having heard of God but thinking it was a fairy tale (srsly, parents suck at that stuff) like Santa and North Dakota. Then a friend invited me to a Christian concert in town and I went (bored, kay?) and then I went to their church the next Wednesday, and viola, Jesus freak.

Do you mean "We" as on "Joe, Myself, and I", or "We" as in there's someone else on this forum that actually cares? :P

Joe

We meaning "me", along with "you" if you answer yes, and including the other believers on these forums. GJ avoiding that. :)

Also, when you said "Joe myself and I" I thought for sure at least one of them meant you. Then I thought for a second..

One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
