In the Fark thread that I saw about that article yesterday they mentioned Mythbusters had busted that kind of thing
...wonder how fake/real that story really is

Mythbusters busted peeing on an electric fence, which has significantly lower voltage/amperage. But who knows?

Actually, they busted peeing on the third rail of a train system, which is actually much higher voltage/amperage.
