Yeah, I posted this in my forum, but not everyone reads there and can comment.  :P What do you guys think? I have a stick of RAM and a power supply that didn't work, so I figure I'll send them back and get another one or two sticks of 1GB G.SKILL RAM.
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.

I'm working on it.  :P But yeah, 4GB RAM and 2x 512MB SLI Video Cards some day.  :P

Look solid, but personally I'd recommend a DirectX 10 card instead of SLI.

That way you won't have to upgrade once DirectX 10 games come out. It probably won't be for a bit, and I'm sure they'll make it so DirectX 9 works, but I like being ahead of the game.

Get a low end DirectX10 card for the same price. It's as fast as it's DirectX9 counter part in rendering DirectX9 and it supports DirectX10, the future of gaming.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

1 GB of ram will serve fine. I'm running one gig on my machine has never been slow. No lag when gaming and I can run most games on high settings.

Funny, 4 days later and the price drops on most of the items :O!

That power supply is iffy, it's generally not something you want to skimp on since it has a lot of current going through it. (Build quality=super important.) From the first few reviews it seems like it doesn't cool that well.

Get at least a 450 WATT PSU for that system. This is the ABSOLUTE cheapest I would go with: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817153023

Here is a list of PSU brand names that are known to be good:

Antec, Cooler Master, Enermax, FSP Group, OCZ (who owns PC P&C), PC Power & Cooling (PC P&C), SilverStone, SeaSonic , Thermaltake, Zalman. These 10 are the best - but theres a few low-end models of these as well ($20~30) . Spend at LEAST $50 for a good basic PSU.

Hope that helps.....
