I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

There are some problems with it though, some of which are specific to the PS2 version which I have. There is noticeable graphical lag in some parts, the menus and save times are reaaaally slow, some of the note charts seem to go in and out of sync, the graphics are terrible (worse than GH2). The only problem I have with the game in gerenal is a lot of the note charts on expert were made harder for the sake of being harder, rather than being true to the song. While the increased difficulty is nice, it makes playing some songs boring as hell.

That said, I still <3 it.

I notice the graphical lag. I'm confused as to how more notes makes the songs boring. :p

I'm confused as to how more notes makes the songs boring. :p
It's not 'more notes', it's stupidly placed notes, 3 note chords in places it doesn't make sense, and lots of chord changes that seem very poorly planned it general. After playing on expert through gh1, gh2, and 80s, I can tell really well thought out ones from bad ones. When the chart is good, even if you suck at it you feel like you are playing the song. A lot of the songs in this just don't have that. On the other hand, some of them are really good, like One and Paranoid for example.

I think this calls for an xkcd reference:
-pic-
This is more true than you could imagine. The song Cult of Personality by Living Color was actually rerecorded for this game. They got the permission to use the original master, but it couldn't be found, so the band rerecorded it with a stupidly hard new guitar solo.

Got it for Wii. Playing on Wiimote is rather interesting. But the wiimote addition to the guitar adds a nice touch (vibrations and sounds).

Yeah, and it's officially my all-time favorite South Park episode.

Apparently our drummer did the drum track for The Devil Went Down to Georgia, and all of the songs came out of our producer's studio.

I've recently decided that GH3 RAWKS. Simply because it has "MIss Murder", "One", "Paranoid", "When You Were Young", and a crapload of other A-MA-ZING songs. music=life.

And after watching him get 70% in easy and the same score in hard, we've decided that the # of notes is not the issue, it's the timing. :)

GH3 is definitely awesome...if you exclude the random placing of notes, such as in The Devil Went Down to Georgia. That song pisses me off, the notes don't even match up to the rhythm of the song. And they should have done the Charlie Daniels Band version...not the gay effed up version they put on there.

I'm telling you, the notes do not match up perfectly for the harder versions. Especially not expert. And like i said on The Devil Went Down to Georgia, unless theres some part that i can't hear, and believe me, i can hear all the parts perfectly fine, the notes do NOT match up. Especially not on expert. And as far as One goes Joe, I've been practicing...I've gotten better. Except now Dahnke took it back, and I have to retrieve it, otherwise I'd kick some major ass. Although, I do like how the notes are set up for Knights of Cydonia, except that song just pisses me off on hard, simply because of the bpm.

Yes, they do. There are two guitar tracks. In the boss battle you are playing the rythm track, and if you have the DLC you play the lead track. It matches up rather perfectly. Maybe you can't hear it fine?

Heh, so basically, being on the X-Box means epic win?  :(

Oh, and they give you the GH2 Guitar for X-Box 360 with the GH3 PC Package.  :\

Yuck, that is by far the worst one. I still play with the PS2 GH2 SG because the buttons are sooo much better, but my ideal guitar would be the SG buttons + the Les Paul/Kramer strum bar :(
