Good SNES games?
« on: February 03, 2008, 08:08:47 pm »
Anyone want to recommend some good SNES games I can play?

So far, I have:

• Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
• Zombies ate my neighbors! (Thanks Hitmen!)
• Super Mario Kart (Thanks Rule!)

Any others that are must-have?

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Final Fantasy 6, 4, and 5 (in order from what I consider best to worst)

Zelda: Link to the Past

Earthbound (dunno why, but I looove Earthbound)

I know there are others, but I can't think of them right now.. :)

I was also going to suggest Donkey Kong, and Zelda.  Zelda is a must have for super nintendo.  Super mario and mario allstars are also recommended, alongside the best fighting game ever, Super Street Fighter 2. (You can actually get good relatively easily, and the game is well balanced).

Got all of those but the Final Fantasies.

Got the first two; thought I got the third one, but it wasn't on the list when I went to try it. :(

Any others? :D

I recommend that you don't overload yourself, and you play the ones you have. I find that if I get too many games at once, I can't focus on them and they all suffer. But that's just me. :)

I'm working through them one at a time. I'm beating Super Mario RPG, and then next up after that shall be the Super Mario All-Stars package.

Then, we'll see! :)

I love you.  Final Fantasy 6 has got to be my all-time favorite RPG.

Chrono Trigger comes second, Secret of Mana comes third, Breath of Fire I and II come fourth and fifth.

I gave Newby an out-of-band recommendation: Harvest Moon. It's a stupid game, and a stupid concept, but surprisingly fun!

I own all of the Harvest Moon series for GBA.  That series is awesome.  :D
