Am I morally bankrupt...
« on: March 15, 2008, 10:28:58 pm »
Because I'm pro-legalization of prostitution?  The world's oldest profession.

I believe that legalization will actually increase the quality of life of prostitutes and also make it safer for both parties.  It works just fine for Nevada.

I support it.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.

I'm all for equal rights.  Men sell their bodies for service (building) and women can sell theirs (sex).

I also love a girl that MAKES me let her pay ... that's hot.  And when she says "now you'd better put out" ... shit, I'm head over heels for that girl.  True story.

@CrAz3D: I like paying, it's traditional. (Not for sex)

@Thread: It's going to happen anyway, if we made it legal at least we are able to tax their income and make it safer for the customers. Secondly, it would save money on prostitute sting operations.

That statement just screams sexist to me hahaha.

I think it will also improve the quality of life of many people on these forums.

It certainly ideal in Nevada, but I also agree that it should be legalized.  What I don't get is how making pornography is legal and tantamount to prostitution (paying someone for sex), but prostitution itself is not.

The pornography industry is highly regulated by the government, iirc, and the cameraman isn't allowed to participate in the sexual acts depicted. Therefore, it's not as simple as bringing a camera when you go to pick up a hooker. :P

It's (I suppose) similar to why marijuana is illegal and alcohol/cigarettes are legal. All of them are bad FOR you in some way, and the latter two are legal. Why? I'm not sure.

But hey, it's an interesting concept.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
