I'm bored. I've been bored for a month. BLAH! Anyone have any good suggestions to take up time?

So far I've:
Re-read all my Discworld books
Read the Walking Dead
Played most of Doom
Played every other game I've got
Played Rock Band 2 until the disc broke (somehow)
Started going to the gym
Smoked a lot
Played Starcraft

I'm bored!

Yeah. I did drink a bit, but drinking alone is sad, so I stopped.

Write a battle.net server clone with linking support. Try to imitate the behavior of battle.net from 1998-99.
It's fun to write bots to have cock fights with other bots...just no environment to do it now.

This should keep you plenty busy. Linking support is tricky...I would look at IRC RFC to get an idea of how to do it. IRC networks split often so this is desirable, as odd as that sounds.

I was talking about cigarette smoking, not marijuana.

Pick up a sport. I'm starting to get back into basketball, which is a good choice because anyone can play and it doesn't require a lot of equipment. Plus a lot of businesses have basketball tournaments and stuff for employees. It's a good way to stay active and in shape, which is why I'm starting to play some. I hope I stick with it once I get back to school.

Run or swim. If you do that on top of working out that the gym you could easily spend 4+ hours with physical activities like that

I do Judo, but since it's a club sport it wasn't active over the break. Next session is tomorrow night.
