Grad students with time to do things other than research?  Preposterous!

I'm kidding, of course, but I like to make grad student jokes since I went to Jorge Cham's "The Power of Procrastination" presentation a month or so ago.  My friend and I were two of something like 5 undergrads in the room, haha.

The RPG board has 1337 posts.
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

The question is, who will un-1337ize it first?

It's so freakin hard to get motivated to go to class :(.

The only reason I'm going, probably, is because I have shit due :(.  I have to give a presentation about how immigration benefits the economy :-\.  Imagine how hard that's going to be being that I'm so racist.  MAN!

should be pretty easy. argue the negative, find data that says the government handouts (i.e. insurance, immigrant-only scholarships, public schooling, etc.) There are so many handouts the government has for immigrants that are unavailable to citizens/natural born citizens that I think it could outweigh the economic benefits. I haven't researched this, but it seems plausible. Also consider the fact that many immigrants come here and work for 6 months, then return to Mexico for 6 months and spend their money there so it's not helping to stimulate our economy. The employers receive a short-term capital gain by hiring cheaper labor, but eventually it will catch up because less people are buying the product because money isn't going back into the economy as it would with American workers.

In the long run, yeah, it is an economic drain ... that's what all my research shows.  But I have to argue that it is an economic BENEFIT.  WTF!?  Even when there is shit out there that says it's a drain, I have to argue against it.  Guess this will be good for days as a politician.

the benefit is that after americans realize immigrants are an economic strain they'll kick them out ;)

I guess just argue the obvious: cheaper wages->business profit->trickle down economics (business puts money into economy, creates jobs, donates money, stock prices rise, prevents recession, etc.) In the short term, this is true so data on that shouldn't be hard to find either.

It wasnt.  I presented that immigration (as a whole) was a slight economic benefit.
The other side said illegal immigration was a drain (it is).

Both sides illegal immigration is a drain, when asked during the Q&A.

Conclusion: illegals need to go home.

I am not a fan of my haircut. It's like... my old hair, minus quite a few inches and minus the fro/poofyness.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
