Installed Vista on my MacBook. I'm not impressed thus far as the trackpad is really, really sensitive, and I only got a 5.0 rating on the performance thing... when my 4 year old computer got a 4.4. I think Apple gives it crappy drivers so it makes it run badly! Anything with 4GB RAM should get nothing less than a 5.9 on the memory rating... I got a 5.1. Oh well.

Still deciding whether or not I want to go OS X or use Vista. Perks to Vista include games and convenience with knowing where/what everything is... but I don't know how much I'll game in college. I can also get Office free for Vista... and I'll have to pay for the OS X version. But who knows? Maybe I'll just manage both... I just want a partition big enough to handle all my music. Unfortunately, I can't split the drive evenly (100/100) and have room for anything but music! So I have to decide. Help! :)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I much prefer M$ Office to OpenOffice... look, feel, and otherwise. I did think about trying it out on Mac though, and if it really comes down to it, I can get Office for like $150 at Davis. Or pirate it. ^^

Maybe I'll do a ~20GB partition for Vista.... just for a few games I want to run. Like Baldur's Gate and such.

951 sq ft. ? damn, that's tiny. the apartment i'm moving into in a month is 1800 sq ft. it won't be just me, though, i'm rooming with torque too... but still, i don't think i saw an apartment that small the entire time i was looking for them.
In the center of Philadelphia, that's a pretty decent sized apartment.  It will seem small because there will be 3 of us, but the master bedroom alone is bigger than my one friend's current entire apartment (a studio POS).  What's more, the rent for him would be $100 cheaper.

As it turns out, I can read the NTFS partition... but I'm still hesitant to use Vista. I almost want to try something new... maybe make a 32GB Vista partition for games now, since Vista takes up ~16GB on its own.

That's gonna be a ballin party.

How is beer "ballin" ?

Large bottles of expensive alcohol is more "baller" then a bunch of beer.

Because we have beer.  He's waiting for the rest of the beer to start, not because that's all he's got.  And there will be beer pong.  And lots of girls.  And 151.  It'll be ballin.

Keep all your music on the HFS+ partition, and pirate a program called MacDrive, which is basically an HFS driver for Windows. The program is really cool if you have an iPod too, because it allows you to format the iPod with HFS+ (read: a much faster fs that doesn't get fragmented) without losing the ability to use the iPod with Windows or even sync it with iTunes in Windows.

How much is in a keg?  Cause he's got like...5 cases already, and he's waiting on a few more.

Uhm, not really.  Texans are just like me.

We drop about $80 for one.

Just met my little cousin!

He's one big booger!  Hadn't seen my cousin & his wife since they were married in June, 04.  I guess they had fun living in Waco, fights in the street at 2am, heh!  One time I guess they got home and had to run inside quickly and bust out the 9mm to get him away.

Dinner at Texas Land & Cattle Co. was disappointing.  Steak was over cooked (I asked for medium rare but received medium or medium well), but tasted decent.

I meant how much is in one.  But it's not particularly important.  Ballin around here is defined by how awesome/how much memorable shit goes on (ie: how many awesome stories can we tell later?)
