I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Aww, I see little birdies outside. They are all over the place, slightly smaller than mine and not as cute, though understandably better fliers. (Against my vet's better judgment I used to leave their wings unclipped for long periods of time, allowing them to fly laps around the house and inevitably crash into all kinds of solid barriers.)

Mediation taking place at the office, things got heated, INTENSE.

Our client is a dude I went to church with.
Other client is rep'd by my fmr-BLAW prof.
Mediator is a VERY animated guy.

Makes for an entertaining day.
Are you sure your office is ok with you posting about their internal affairs? Some places frown on that stuff.

btw, listening to the RNC on radio last night felt like listening to a bunch of drunks at a bar. the lack of logic, evidence, decency, and character made me cringe and want to punch walls.

mccain might well have proposed to nuke the moon and have gotten the same response, such was the blind loyalty

I watched it and can confirm what you heard; it resembled a giant frat party for older, mostly white, folks. People were dancing and they even had a concert at the convention's conclusion...

Do you, by any chance, use this AP Bio book? I recognize online tests like that:

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

WTF!? Time to start bringing guns to friggin work!
Someone just came in our back door, walked around, then left. It wasn't our runner, she's on the other side of town. Wasn't the boss as he is at depositions.
This place is FREAKING ridiculous.

...or both.

One time there was a dude that walked in the front door, he was obviously deranged.  He kept saying my boss needed to help him.  Also kept commenting on the computers and that they were new.  Scary shit.

It doesn't even occur to him to lock it. If his problem can't be solved by booze, then he opts to solve it with a firearm. Go figure, huh?

Was he somebody you tried to argue with in the past?

I think that's the book we use here for intro bio.  I remember seeing it at a friend's place, anyway.

Seriously, our town used to be pretty decent.  Also, we're in and out of the back door all day ... now I guess we should just walk out with guns drawn
