Facebook killed the radio star. And by radio star, I mean the premise of distributed forums around the internet. And that got got by Instagram/SnapChat. And that got got by TikTok. Where the fuck is the internet we once knew?

On the subject of public schools, I wish I had never gone at all. I asked my parents if I could be homeschooled in 9th grade but unfortunately they refused. My school didn't let people take AP classes until Senior year, with the one exception of AP US History Junior year, and so we all had to suffer through a bunch of shitty teaching for the first three years (with just a few exceptions). In total, pre-collegiate schools have wasted at least 8500 hours of my time. When you look at it bluntly like that, it's really depressing.
so there is a fire near my house right next to a gas station

so there is a fire near my house right next to a gas station and a pizza place. this particular spot is where people go and smoke so i think they had something to do with it.

We have record national spending on education, and it's not really helping.

I think he's saying that the public school system should be done away with?
There are alternatives to providing public education. For example, some cities provide a voucher system where you're given money to be used for private schooling.

This clearly would be a worse system.
