Played the coolest game today. Kickball with a keg at second base! You had to chug a beer at second base to move on.

Won that game 20-15? I think.

Anyway, time to score some chicks tonight. I need a fuckin' haircut but in the meantime some bitches love shaggy hair...
jesus your turning into the stereotypical college guy. next on your list = Rushing?
Haha, while I was reading his post, I couldn't help but think, "Trust? Is that you?"

I was thinking the same thing. lol

What's wrong with having some fun with his new found freedom?
its cause i cant participate :( one of the drawbacks of wanting to be a cop. they put you under a lie detector test and ask you a bunch of questions and if they find out you drink and promote it then they wont let you into the force. or if you do any controlled substances thats like an automatic X.

Uhh, right.
It is good to be good, but it is better to be lucky.

That doesn't sound too legal.
And like a fool I believed myself, and thought I was somebody else...

Don't become a stereotype... And don't join a frat.  It's basically paying for friends, to become their bitch, and for desperate, insecure women.

What's wrong with Fraternities? They're not all about getting drunk, you know.

Well, most of them are, but not all.

I don't think they're that serious about those kinds of activities.  My friend worked for the government this summer at a place that requires much better behavior/history than the police force and he had a somewhat shady past.  As long as you're honest, the things you did weren't too serious and you can show that you're no longer involved with those sorts of things, I doubt they'll care.  It's part of being young.

That being said, I respect your decision.  I'm not suggesting you go wild -- just saying that the polygraph test probably isn't as scary as you're thinking.

My homework load dropped off about a third of what it was the previous three weeks. Maybe I'm coping, or I'm picking up the material faster, I dunno.

I have been listening to this the last two days. It is most excellent.

Also: polygraph tests are hilarious. A friend bought an old one off ebay, and they are terrible. There is much more accurate technology involving biometrics that can do what a lie detector is really supposed to do.

Also: three page essay about prompt due in 35 minutes:

Quote
We are prdisoposed to regard any conflict as a clash between good and evil rather than as simply a clash between conflicting interests. We must learn to explore all of the options and possibilities that confront us in a complex and rapidly changing world and to welcome rather than fear the voices of dissent. If we are to act wisely and creatively upon the new realities of our time, we must think and talk about our problems with perfect freedom.

James Fulbright, "Old Myths and New Realities"

Assignment: Is disagreement necessary to progress? Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, literature, or observations.

instructor stole prompt from TPR SAT prep book. lol.

In order for something to be a polygraph, it literally has to look at multiple signals. It's not a brand or product name; the fact that your friend bought some shit on ebay once doesn't mean that the police have shit for equipment.

I'm not going to become a frat boy or a stereotype. I'm just taking advantage of all the free alcohol and women the frats are throwing at us for the next two weeks. :P

Class starts tomorrow and I really can't wait for it! :D

I did have some serious beer goggles after that game though, and almost hooked up with this chick wasn't the best looking girl on the planet. Glad I didn't really drink later that night and lost my goggles, saved myself from committing something I would hate!

I can download at 5 MB/sec. :D

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jYxTzDFofZQ This probably deserves it's own thread, but I don't make threads. Troops stationed in America trained for civil unrest + crowd control: when police and SWAT teams aren't enough for people who aren't even allowed automatic weapons.

riots get out of hand fast have you seen those clips where people come in with motlove cocktails. and all the SWAT has is water cannons. cause lets admit it if cops were to fire live ammunition onto a crowd there would be major media whores coming in and mobbing the place.

Says the living, unexperienced, stereotype.  The person who only years ago wasn't even sure he was "comfortable" with the idea his girlfriend initiated hand-holding.
