No, they don't give you a gun.  You're not even allowed to shoot anyone.  All you can do is call INS when you see the suckers crossing.

Get good noise cancellation headphones.

My friend's building was undergoing major renovations this summer, so he got good headphones and they literally cancel out construction noises in the next room. It was impressive!

I thought the guys behind me were reviewing the delta-epsilon definition of a limit, but it turns out that they were just talking about frats. :(

I got a bid (basically) to join a frat, but when asked about it I said I'd probably defer (as I'm not "ready" (and probably won't ever be) to join a frat) and so they said they'd "try" to get me a bid so I could skip rush spring quarter, but I'm pretty sure that got rid of my bid altogether. So no pressure about joining one now!

I was just looking for a place to chill, and I'm not 100% down with paying to hang out there. :P

EDIT -- just got a call being invited to bid dinner, even if I'm just gonna defer, so whatever, guess I'm gonna go get some free grub and meet more of them!
