I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

You lazy bastard. Work more hours over a longer period of time, so your head doesn't hurt. Work like 20 hours a week or so, 4 hours at a time. Then, it's not so bad.

I would if they had 4 hour shifts. The best I can do is hoping for 2 5 hour shifts on Friday/Saturday with maybe 2 6 hour shifts on slow days (Tuesday/Wednesday?) so eh? :/

Anyway, I get to get up and go right to crap so I have no time for shit before work. afk!@

Yeah I got my check yesterday, it was only like $120 but it was cool because I only worked a couple of days (because I was off for a week for vacation.)

I do what Quik said, usually I work about 30 hours a week with the weekdays/Sundays being about 3-5 hour shifts. Then on Saturdays I have the 8 hour or so shifts (4pm - 11pm-12:30am) when we have big banquets. (Like tonight I went in at 4 and got off at 12:30.)

But since Lauren went out of town last week I was working mornings which is 7 hours versus nights which is 4 on weekdays so I amassed some hours (10 more than my friend actually.) My job is so easy too, basically I just sit around and eat. I love it.

I don't stop moving for 6 solid hours, and I make $5.25 an hour. F you. I hate you for making more than me and doing less than me. Please run off and die.

Anyway, I made about $6.20 an hour in tips on Friday. It's sad when my paycheck is smaller than the $ in tips....

Good news is some waitresses wrote a note to my boss about how awesome I did on Friday, and today 2-3 people told me I kick ass and I do an awesome job, blah blah blah, etc.

Maybe I'll start getting more front shifts. :)

I get paid more than you, work less hours per interval, and generally just sit around or drive most of the time. I guess I miss out on the stimulation of the food industry and the complements of coworkers such as "you kick ass" -- damn I'm deprived.

Same here.

$6.50 an hour, $40/month in gas, 18 hrs a week usually, can take off work pretty much whenever just so long as I ask somewhat in advance.

side note:
I heard it rainning so I openned my door to watch it and it stopped :(.  I started to hear a whooshing sound (like wind through pine trees in the forest) coming from the north...I looked north & I just see this intense wall of rain coming towards me, it was cool!

I work, usually, 40 hours a week.  I get paid $12/hour and because I have to drive 15 or more miles to get to work, I get $50/day for per diem.

Also, I want to kill my brother.  He left this morning to go visit his girlfriend; she lives somewhere near Reno. However, the reason I want to kill him is because for four days I've been telling him that he needed to do his fair share of chores because he left.  Well, he didn't do them, so I have a few more hours of chores.
errr... something like that...

Killing your brother will solve nothing. Killing his girlfriend will be psycological and physical torture to his mind. That's the proper path.
