It's really not that much more difficult.  Sure you will stall a few times while you learn, but meh.

Well, I learned on automatic.  Then one day, a friend of mine decides he wants to teach me stick.  The first time I tried, I completely dumped the clutch.  Eventually, I was able to shift and all that nonsense.  Unfortunately, I haven't driven stick sense, so I'm probably horrible again.

When my brother was teaching me to drive, he had a stick.  I think they're fun.  Just takes a little while to figure out how to get into first gear.

You put the cigarette in your mouth and shift jeez. Nobody just holds their cigarette like a incent... also... you could put it in the ashtray and the cup in the cupholder.

Actually, that's the same story as mine.  I think I could probably drive it now, sort of, just enough to get to a hospital if the situation came up.

It's not that simple.  You have to press the clutch and the gas a bit then shift into first and release the clutch and increase the gas, or something.  But it gets easier when you do it a few times.
