Well, I need a laptop for school, and so I'm getting one. As some of you may know, I get software free, but companies don't like that.
I can get a Dell XPS (customized below) for $2231 or an IMB ThinkPad Z61m (customized below-er) for $2071. These prices are also before I get Windows removed from the price, so the Z61m will be <$2000 and the XPS might be around $2000. Right now I'm debating which to get. My parents favor the Z61m, partly for its smaller price tag, but mostly because I just customized the XPS and haven't shown it to them yet.
