agreed, I'll post a revamped one later on
Just something simple. On my dads business cards he just has a little picture of a house.

For the business card I agree, but something like this is fine for powerpoint

I just updated it, what about now?
looks 20x better.
It's too big, I think. Banners should be able to get their point across without being so big.
Your current one is 200px in height. You have to consider that this is 33% of the screen for someone who's running 800x600 resolution. I've ran into lots of older people who turn up the resolution because it makes everything easier to read.
I'll ask my friend if he wants it smaller or larger, I doubt he'll want it changed, though.
Any how, this is for powerpoints and/o0r maybe bix cards...they can chrink it however they want
I was under the impression that it was for a website. It doesn't really matter if its used for other things.

Was my thread title that misleading? :P
I didn't read it. To be honest, I try to skip over a lot of what you write because it gives me a headache. :)

In all honesty, I do too. Why do you think it comes out so jumbled, I'm not naturally this untalented
Have you tried moving the slogan(?) closer to the company name?
Other than that, it looks fine I think.

Thoughts now?
(these are fonts he picked out, he being my friend)...not sure if I like 'em too much
I think the font style is a little overboard. :P
'amco' and 'uctions' is too light imo. Also try making 'Ramco Auctions' smaller, especially the R and A. Maybe even adding a black outline around it.
It's also way too big for a business card. You need something small and simple for them.
The 'S' trailing across the house looks ugly.
Don't update the main image when you make a new one. Post a new one. When I first came to this thread, the original image had none of the qualities in the criticizing (sp?) first posts.
A business card shouldn't have so much action, either. Go for something simple yet elegant.
