Also not true. Many Canadians and Americans live overseas.
You completely missed the point. :P
Or he totally understood the point --...
Lol, I suppose that's true.
The once grove of splendor,
Aforetime crowned by lilac and lily,
Lay now forevermore slender;
And all winds that liven
Silhouette a lone existence;
A leafless oak grasping at eternity.

Sorry Joe that I've been so late to reply.

Attached are some articles on evolution from my bio class.

But even better is the following book: The Making of the Fittest by Sean B Carroll

Edit: The Carroll book has won a lot of awards, and is very highly-regarded. You should look into it.

Oh, and for the sake of balance, Descartes' argument for God existing:

1. God contains all perfections
2. Existence is a perfection
3. Therefore, God exists

Descarte's proof is far, far more complicated than that. That's a huge oversimplification.

It's the outline of it. But yeah, he devotes around 10 pages to arguing his claims and shooting down counterarguments.

Hm, well:
1. Nothing is perfect
2. God doesn't exist/is fallible

True, but presented in such a glib way, it sounds completely impossible and gives rise to a lot of objections. The full argument takes care of a lot of that stuff.
