This has me thinking, because the Sheriff makes a good point, did they threaten to charge him in order to save face? They were going to be criticized either way, and they knew that, and this way they somewhat pleased both sides.

like I said, the guy won eight damn gold medals, thats eight more gold medals than most people win in their life,  if he wants to smoke marijuana, we should only be asking "how much?"
