Tomorrow, I (and whoever wants to help) will participate in the development of a working, good X-Chat plugin, that will be a simple management-type thing for XMMS.

So I can have my /mp3, /xmms next, etc. commands in XChat.

If anybody wants to help test it, code it, whatever, feel free to post.

It'll be a good way to learn Perl, too. :)

Yes, it will be in Perl. Either that, or Tcl. :P

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Damn I am a god in Perl.

Any of my work can be found here.

Current version: 0.2 BETA

What needs to be done?

- Parsing ID3 tags from MP3.
- Parsing tags from OGG (???)
- Allow for easier customization, so people don't have to dink around in the source.

Example of its work:

Quotenewby is currently listening to 10021. Torture Squad - Horror And Torture [00:04 of 05:03] [320kbps]
