It's no. I remember watching an episode once where that one bitch that's all over the joker had Batman hanging upside down over a pool full of piranhas, and the Joker let Batman go, with the excuse that it wasn't funny.

Yup, The Joker would not approve of him dying in the original series.  What those idiots decide to do with the new animated crap is beyond me, though.
