It's good to still see some compassion in the computer world these days.

Either way, some kids got something for free when they lost most of everything.  That's good in my book.

I agree with iago.  If Apple actually cared they'd rebuild homes or something ... like Brad Pitt I guess.

If Apple truly cared, they'd give the people $200 a head in lieu of the iPod.

The difference is, iPods cost Apple significantly less than $200.

If they gave money, the parents would take it. The iPod is a good thing to give out, and within Apple's means since they make them.

It'll be interesting getting songs on them, since I bet that a lot of them don't have computers/CDs.
