Star Trek - Source Stealing

I was just watching an episode of Star Trek: TNG involving a race that runs around stealing technologies.  They don't really know how to use them, so their ship is patched together and none of their systems work properly.  It made me think of bots that are glued together using code people don't know how to use and that was badly written in the first place (well written code is re-usable). :)

Wow, a Star Trek: TNG watcher, good man.  What was the name of the race of aliens?  I have watched almost all of the episodes, but I don't seem to remember that one.

It was just some random race invented for the episode.  I didn't pay much attention to it.

They took Jordy capitive and demanded technology for trade.  It was the episode where Picard first told them about his heart condition (condition, meaning, "getting stabbed through it").  It had Dr. Pulaski but not Leuitenand Yar, so that should narrow down the episodes.  There weren't many between that.

And Re. Star Trek, I've watched all the serieses except for Enterprise.  My favorite is DS9 which isn't even played here anymore, which upsets me.  I'll probably go back and watch Enterprise at some point, but I haven't really been in a hurry.

Enterprise is cancelled and finishes up in May.  Umm, around here they still play DS9, if you have the network SpikeTV then it is on that in the middle of the day before TNG.  My personal Favorite is TNG, DS9 is probably 2nd.  The only reason I think Enterprise didn't cech on was becasue their episdoes lasted usually more then one show.  Which is no fun, because if you miss one episode then then you miss out.

We get SpikeTV here.  They play Original, TNG, and Voyager every day :(

And I know Enterprise is cancelled, I might go back and watch it, though.

Ewww @ Voyager, it such a bad show, becasue nothing is like a threat to them.  The Borg are no match, its just stupid.  Here Voyager is still owned by UPN and gets burned off nightly at like 1AM and Original is on SciFi every afternoon.

I kinda liked Voyager.  Because they were alone, it was a lot more tight, like, family-like.  I dunno, I liked the emotion in it :P

It never really got my interest, I just gave up on it pretty fast though.  Well either way, no chance in watching it now since I don't feel like becoming an insomniac :)

Enterprise wasn't a completly bad show, just thier writers got into way to elaborate plots that lasted too many expisodes that even lost hard core star trek fans attention.  If you want a good SciFi show then watch Stargate: Atlantis, Rabbit.  Andromeda is a fair show, nothing to write home about in my book.

I used to love Star Trek, I even bought lots of action figures. but then It stopped airing in times I could stay up to watch it, so i lost interest. Not having Cable TV blows.

Hahaha, the action figures! I used to have the whole bridge crew on TNG, maybe I can dig thoes up and take a snap a shot of them.  I still have the Enterprise-D and a Romulan Warbird hanging on my ceiling, if I find my digital camera, I'll snap thoes too.

I watch StarTrek for the battles ad maybe some girls here and there, but I'm not that desperate.
