Looking for a graphic designer that can create a complete web presence...

I've got a website that I've been working on for a little bit, and am not so hot at Photoshop. I've just finished a horrible experience paying a designer a pretty good amount of money, only to realize his work doesn't resemble anything he has on his portfolio. He created some pretty terrible logos for me. The first one he created looked like it came out of Microsoft Paint.

Anyways, I'm just looking for somebody on here or a reference to somebody that one of you may have good prior experiences with. I've got no problem paying if you can guarantee a better experience that what I just described. I typically favor frequent communication. This is a self funded project, so we're not talking about hundreds of dollars, but the money that I basically threw away previously was $100 on a single logo.

Anyways, let me know if you're interested or have some references for me!

I have a friend who's pretty good with this kind of stuff.  He also has an uncanny way of knowing someone that's good at just about everything, so if he can't help you, he probably knows someone who can.  I swear to god, he's better than Google most of the time.

Yea. I've been looking around for awhile for somebody that I can get a good reference for. I paid some guy $100 for a simple logo, and he produced absolute crap. It was $100 wasted. I quit asking for revisions, lol.

Yea, I'd like to give him a shout.
