I'm fairly sure that this is completely against the First Amendment.

Now every whackjob with a cult will want a ____ Day, and they should get one in light of this horrible action.  WTF was Hawaii thinking?!

How is it against the First Amendment? The First Amendment specifically bans the United States Congress from making laws for or against religion, it says nothing about States, and in fact, is a power left exclusively to the states.
One must ask oneself: "do I will trolling to become a universal law?" And then when one realizes "yes, I do will it to be such," one feels completely justified.
