Apparently Blizzard came out with WC3 Brand fireworks. I thought I took a much higher resolution picture.. but.. I guess I didn't!

That's badass. Do you see a picture of a grunt when they explode?

I didn't buy any.

Current schedule:

PHY 009AH Honors Physics
MAT 021B Calculus
ECE 001 Intro to ECE
PSY 001 General Psychology

My adviser told me my schedule was too hard with chemistry, so she made me take it out and replace it with psychology. All in all, though, I'm really content.

I also have no class Tuesday. :)

And I'm quite content with the Macbook Pro I picked up. They bundled an extra 2GB of RAM / AppleCare for the price of a normal MB Pro, so I got the laptop discounted at about 20-25%. I plan to stick Vista on it! Hooray!

My stepmom and dad are bringing my cat to the vet, and if there's nothing wrong with him, they're euthanizing him because apparently he peed on the rugs again, and they're heartless. I'm not sure if they'll actually put him down, but we'll see. :/

And I'm good to go for coming home August 4th. Hooray!!

(I'm at the airport, so I'm bored. :P)

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

That's horrible.  I hate the idea of "pets" being solely for human amusement and pleasure.  It should go both ways.  It's a lot like euthanizing your own kid for spilling ink on the floor.

Can't they find someone to adopt it?

They could be doing it more out of spite than for practical reasons.

But people don't consider animals to have any kind of rights, which I think is awful.

Maybe partly out of spite.  My guess is that they just don't care about the cat, it is more inconvenience than amusement, and euthanizing is the most convenient option.

Yes, the way people view other animal life is terrifying.  People will kill their pets if they are inconvenient.  Or even take pleasure from killing or torturing other animal life.  But these same people were outraged when a human in a permanent vegetative state was euthanized.  Millions of dollars were spent, and laws were changed, specifically to prevent this from happening to Terry Schiavo.  There was a huge spectacle of public outrage (on both sides).  These same people also go crazy about protecting a fertilized human egg.

Humans are insane.

Anyways, I'd urge them to put it up for adoption.

The first advisor I had (I came in undeclared) kept telling me to do 12-15 hours, and I regret taking her seriously. When I was working out my possible electives for next year, I had to cut so many from my list because I didn't have a pre-requisite I should have taken my freshman  year. If you think you can handle it, sign up for the course. You can usually drop the course after 1 or 2 weeks with no penalties if you think it'll be too much.

errr... something like that...
