It was quiet over the holidays, especially since the election ended (90% of the posts were Warrior and others arguing about politics), but it seems to be picking back up lately. :)

hehehe.
I would like to say congrats to Obama and good luck.

I would also like to say that the inauguration was over rated.
I agree.

Also, the x86 elections were way better. We need a speech by the newly elected leaders! :D

I said "newly" for a very good reason, and that's exactly it. :D

Oh lol I totally dont remember you.

Probably because he only has a few posts.  I didn't remember him particularly well either!

Welcome back, Ribose.  :)
I got bored and stopped opening this with my regular forum set of tabs. I decided yesterday why not open it again. I noticed it was still active. :D

Hehe, cool.  Hi again! :D

I was skeptical of Obama, but I have warmed up to him.  The problem I had with Obama was that there was very little substantial record to indicate he would be a president for the middle of the road Americans and not be the bitch of the crazies on the far left like Pelosi.  His campaign and the ravings of the far left in support of him scared the fuck out of me.  However, since his election, I have seen that he is making an effort to be a leader for all Americans and indeed willing to hear all sides of the story and offer out that olive branch.  He's done a lot with McCain so far, asking for his advice and input on various appointments and issues like immigration, which contrary to the past is an extraordinary gesture.  Anyways, I think what really struck me from his inauguration speech was his message to everyone to stop being childish.  For me, I saw that as him making sure that not just the American people thought about having to make tough decisions, but more importantly Congress.  Only time will tell, but my cynicism in politicians is a little less now and a little more forgiving.

With all the attention around the inauguration, I finally found something interesting. No US customers though, boo!

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
