The problem right now is that people under 21 who drink illegal (and, from my experience, almost everybody does it) are less likely to call somebody for a ride or take a safe way home because they're drinking illegally and are afraid of getting caught.

Yeah, at UW there was an issue with some of the saferide drivers. They would pick up minors, give them a ride to the dorms, and upon arriving, have the police issue them a citation for minor in possession. Also, police issued citations for public intoxication when people walked home from the bars. Maybe the police in Laramie just sucked, though.

Yeah, that's just asking for people to drive themselves.

Personally I think we should do like the rest of the world and have drinking at 18 and driving at 21.  That way people have a few years to figure out their tolerances and such, and will be less likely to drink and drive.

I broke up with my girlfriend because she required way too much time and attention. We could go on a date and be together for 6+ hours and when I got home and checked my email (I work in IT, I need to check my email, damn it) I'd get accused of never spending time with her. When I have to do homework, the same. When I have to go to school early / stay late, the same.

She decided it'd be a great opportunity to give me this bullshit about how she's on the rebound and going to her friend "Bryan's" house to hang out. Naturally, I find it a good opportunity to get stuff done and allow her to gtfo. Apparently she and "Bryan" made out, which is whatever, and I don't really care. Later on the story changes that they had sex. Over the next week or so she goes over to "Bryan"s house again a few times and have sex three times.

I really don't give a rat's ass. She's annoying the hell out of me with all her attention seeking, and apparently that doesn't work for her. She changes the story to be that "Bryan" is my best friend Andy, and then later tells me they never had sex, but apparently just made out. I hung out with Andy, his brother Mike (also a good friend of mine), and Stacey (the new girl I like, a programmer from school), and apparently I was supposed to interrogate Andy for the truth.
