I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

I got deferred from Hampden-Sydney College. The Dean of Admissions wrote a note on the bottom of my letter saying

"Matthew,
The committee was very impressed with your senior year grades to date. Keep working at that level. You are showing what you can do! We are pulling for you!"

I'm pretty upset.

It means they'll reevaluate my application once they receive my 1st semester grades and I'll be eligible for admission through regular decision.

Word. I wrote a letter on Tuesday to the Dean of Admissions telling her how I was upset but I expected it and understood the committees decision. I told her how I knew admission rates after a deferral are low but that I want to go to HSC more than anything and would not disappointed her.

She called me back about 45 minutes ago and left a message saying how, in my case, the chance is "very high."

Nice thing to start Christmas break on!
