In the case of CliffNotes and MasterPlots, it takes me about a good 20-30min to get through most of it, whereas the book itself takes... A lot longer. As well, I don't have a lot of patience to actually sit down and ready anymore. I used to absolutely love to read, but at least lately, whether senioritis or what, I can't seem to even read a book I really /want/ to read (thus, the reason Atlas Shrugged is like 2 chapters from being finished and.. is not.)

Rule

Hmm, true enough.  I guess it doesn't matter to me that I could finish a cliffnotes' in an hour, or whatever, because it would seem like an eternity.  It's like the difference between playing Diablo 2 for 6 hours, and reading a book Blizzard wrote about Diablo 2 for an hour.  Playing the game would be a lot more engaging and go by a lot faster.

Because you can print off the Sparknotes before class, or just read the relevant chapter summary for the class discussion and be good. I haven't read any books that were assigned this year in their entirety, but when we write papers (usually timed in-class AP style writings) I'll get an A or sometimes a high B.

My woman leaves tomorrow afternoon/at noon :(

AP US History test was mad easy. If I get less than a 4 I cry. I'm aiming for a 5.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

It's almost 8pm and I'm sitting here :(...Friday, the last day of school...waiting for my woman to call.
Maybe she won't, maybe I'll go out with friends and be merry.

*sigh*

CrAz3D

Agreed. I always like it a lot more when the guy calls me, anyways. (Mainly because I'm lazy and not a whole lot compels me to make phone calls a lot of the time.) Haha. Just get a hold of her. If she says she was waiting for you to call, I'll laugh. ^^

Usually I am the one to call, however, the previous day she said she would call me about dinner and then hanging out, so I waited.

Eventually I text her asking what time she leaves today/if I could come by and say bye...she was packing (didnt do dinner) but said to go over, so I did.

Hung out with her and her friend (& her friend's boyfriend for a while), then they left.
We did stuff and fell asleep.  She's real cute sleeping.
Woke up, gave her a nice back rub.

As it stands I don't think we're together anymore :(
She is in Albuquerque all summer (250 ish miles away) (visits are possible, but they'd be infrequent and we aren't phone people, although I would be able to talk to her on the phone).
Fall semester she is studying abroad in Thailand (of all God foresaken places ::)).

SO, I don't know.  She said she'd call if she came down, I plan to go up for a day a couple of times or so...do lunch or dinner then drive back home (that's like a $150 trip each time cause of gas + whatever we'd do :().

All in all, I'm pretty down :'(
I'll miss her.

p.s. damn me for always "falling hard and fast" (not that I'm in love with her, but quite attached)

That sucks, man. =/ Nothin' worse than not being able to be around the one you want to be around.
