Japanese final today (yes, I realize it's Sunday).  I'm not looking forward to it.

so I didn't go to my friends hotel party instead I went to another girls beach house since she invited everyone from our sand lacrosse team (she was on it too) over. wasn't a party since we couldn't stay so I just had a couple beers and we played pool and fooseball and went down to the beach and stuff. the only interesting party is that my friends/teammates sister was there, and she was at the beach with us all day. I've known for awhile that she likes me, but it was obvious yesterday. She's cute, but she has big legs so that's a major turnoff. Plus she's a rising senior in highschool. One of my friends who was there (actually the one who told me she liked me) overheard her tell the other girl that she was definitely going to kiss me tonight. I didn't want to lead her on so I didn't get into a position where she could. It's ashame because she's cute and really really sweet but she just has fat legs.

Looking forward to Newby/Towelie's story..sounds pretty crazy.

Cops are fucking retarded

Friends and I have a small end-of-summer party (Aug 07), about 17 people we counted.  At 1030pm cops walking around the neighborhood (they lied on the police report, said someone called about noise disturbance) knocked so we openned the door (plain clothes too).  In the end, the cops tell everyone to leave and two of us that live here get cited for allowing ourselves to be served, the other dude that lives here got the city's version of providing alcohol to minors (state version is a felony).
Ok, fine, whatever, got that taken care of now.

Fastforward to very recently.  Some chick my sis knows had a party and she (the friend) was the only of-age one there.  Allegedly, once busted, the really young kids at the party (15 and 16) kept telling the cops "I'm sooo drunk!"  In the end the cops cited no one and said only that everyone under 19 had to leave.


WTF kind of sense does that make!?  Come on, seriously.

Reminds me of our bonfire/helicopter story.
There are dirty pits in the desert near the hospital in town we used to party at.  Dudes would load up trucks with wood palettes taken from a tractor-trailer at Lowe's.
One night we were out there with a couple of kegs and all, just chilling.  A helicopter starts circling.  We get calls from people saying that there are two cop cars sitting at the end of the paved road to get out to the fire spot.

Since the cops weren't stopping anyone we kept partying.  Friends were coming out so the directions to the party spot I gave were as follows:
"Go up Lohman, past the hospital and then take a left at the cops.  Go straight and then make a left ... try to find the fire or call again."

When we left we all waved at the cops as we drove by :D!

But yeah, sounds like fun. But a bunch of underage people going and drinking on a *hill* just sounds like an incredibly bad idea. I mean, hills are great if you want people to see/hear you, but it isn't exactly sneaky.

My city has a under 18 1AM curfew, which I believe is perfectly reasonable.  :)
