Good thing I was given a car over spring break and have it on campus!  I have an interview next Friday in Maryland with Northrop Grumman.  They're paying for gas, food, and hotel expenses, pretty hax.  I could have requested air travel, but I figured 3.75 hours isn't that bad of a drive, especially since I have no classes on Friday and I can leave Thursday afternoon and get to the hotel in time for a good night's rest.

I'm taking this 4-Saturday Macroeconomics class that started today. Welcome to 5 hours with a funny little Chinese guy who barely speaks English and middle-aged women who blatantly hit on me the entire time.

Disclaimer: I don't mean funny that he's Asian, I mean funny like ha-ha...his teaching style is entertaining. It's just not very informative.

Late night impulse buys on computer parts are a bad idea. Somehow I justified spending a little more money for a slightly better processor than I originally intended on purchasing, but apparently that bumped up the system bus speed to something my older motherboard does not support. Now the difficult question: Do I spend *more* money and buy a new motherboard, or attempt to go through the hassle of replacing a now icky thermal grease coated CPU? (haven't even looked into whether I can do this or not with newegg, but according to the box apparently attempting to run it on an unsupported motherboard voids the manufacturer's warranty)

They better not have fucking lost my official transcript and are just now telling me fucking 2 months after I sent it and the online system reflected that they received it... fucking hell.  I am so goddamned pissed because it takes 2-4 weeks for the fucking university's registrar's office to prepare and send my official transcript out.  They will have to fucking accept an scanned copy of one that I have until it fucking arrives in the goddamn mail and they better fucking evaluate my application in the meantime.  Goddamnit, I am not waiting another fucking month for a response on my application.
