So apparently at least 3 tornadoes touched down in my area today. One near my house. It went from being sunny to instant rain/hail blocking all vision from the window. About 5 minutes later it was over. Nothing significantly damaged at my house, but my neighbor lost part of their privacy fence and a tree fell on their house. A house around the corner had a tree fall on their house and their car. The governor declared a state of emergency for the region.

In more pleasant news, I am the fastest swimmer in my lifeguard cert class.

I commute this semester. Monday, I drove 40 minutes to class and when I got there the professor and a handful of students were walking out. We didn't even have class. I drove 40 minutes there just to drive 40 minutes home.
