It's 'O', 'S', and 'U'.

The more I think about it, the funnier I find the situation.

Shrug.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.

Not bad considering the tickets (invitiation only I beleive) cost between $150-$5000.

Sweet, get me an autograph! The highest political figure I've gotten to meet was the former gov of New Mexico.

Well, instead of paying $25 I get in free since I agreed to get there early and sign in press/important guests (meaning high donors, like Pat Robertson.) I'll still get to attend the breakfast and sit down at a table and all, and they're even going to try and arrange a picture or something with Laura.

And on Sunday I'm riding in a car with our Congresswoman (I know her sort of, she gets her hair done the same place my mom does (well I get mine cut there too) and her nephew is also in Young Republicans with me.)

Pretty tight home fly!!!

Monday I get to go to a meeting (before it starts) & hit up candidates that said they'd sponsor a hole (golf tournament College Republicans are hosting) for their sign & money.

MAYBE I'll meet Bush & Senator Domenici (if they really are here in the next few weeks).

!!!
I was asked if I'd be interested in being an assistant field rep. for southern NM Republicans...a paying job in politics, wow.  Turned it down though :(

trust

Why'd you turn it down?

Oh, and I forgot to mention...I'm volunteering for the Secret Service by doing the signing in. That is so cool, I hope I get a cool clearance badge or something.

Joe

Wow, I owned zorm. I have a plaque hanging on the wall in my bedroom signed by the gov. of Wisconsin where he sucks up to me about how awesome I am for recycling. I'll have to take a picture some time. I met him, shook his hand, said hi, etc.

I didnt want to be taking on too much.  I have class every morning (830-1 usually), band every evening (430-6), football games/parades/etc for band on almost EVERY weekend...I just dont think I have that kind of time.

Plus, my current job is WAY awesome.  My boss is fine with me taking off random days & he works around my schedule...I dont want to drop this just yet.

Also, I'm Vice Chair for Collge Republicans of the State of New Mexico (heh, sounds cool...but I haven't done anything in that position yet).  Maybe if we have a meeting somewhere I can get a piece of paper saying I am that, yay for resume building stuff.
