Think X-Chat.
Assume I'm logged on as Joe-Tech.

<person> Hi Joe.
<person> Joe-Tech
*BEEP*
<person> Hello Joe-Tech
*BEEP*

Basically, if(instr(message, username) != 0) { beep(); }, of course using the Java instr and beep (srcstr? System.beep?)
I'd personally do as Joe suggests

You might be right about that, Joe.

Bump your old topic. Don't make a new one.

If you don't notice, you're really really beginning to post the most random bullshit I've ever seen. (Just look at the trash can, the last 4-5 posts/topics trashed are you!)

Quit it. It's pissing me off, and I'm pretty sure it pisses others off.

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
