I changed from Trindlehaven Staff (With +55 Healing) to Charstone Dirk and Spellbound tome.  My base mana is now 7800. :)

My brother left for the day and I was playing his druid and I got glowing bright wood staff and a Hammer of the northern wind all in the same MC raid. I got 20 bucks when he came home for it. I LR both times and got 98 and 99 :) His guild almost kick him out for it too :0

Those types of items don't drop in Molten Core.  (Another Link).

The only BoE epics that I know of that drop in Molten Core are the Belt and Bracers to each tier 1 epic set (Priest = Prophecy, Warrior = Might, Mage = Archanist, etc).

In my opinion, the only thing that Glowing Brightwood Staff and Hammer of Northern Wind are good for is their price tag.  You can sell them on the Auction House for ridiculous amounts.  They're really not that good of weapons, especially considering instance dropped items are much better.
