As one or two of you may know, we have a Federal election coming up soon in Canada. 

On our lawn, we have a big blue sign that says "Steven Fletcher -- Conservative -- Stand up for Canada"

Now, at first, there was nothing funny about that.  Then I read up on him, and discovered that he's quadriplegic.  But the party's slogan is "Stand up for Canada."  Am I the only one that thinks that's funny!? :)

By the way, the reason I like and hate him:

On May 21, 2005, he apologized for having said "The Japs were bastards" at a veterans' convention in Winnipeg a week before

If only he hadn't apologized.. ohwell :)
