What are you gonna do? I graduate this year and was just wondering..
For you geeks out there, I am going to be apprenticed into a trade that involves alot of trig math: Tool making!

My dad owns his own shop and they make parts for machines that build things in mass production.
Common words of the trade are: /tooling/dyes/molds/milling/CAD programming.

Well enough about my career endeavours lets hear about yours.

Sounds like fun.  Good luck with that. :)

I'm going to be going to CSU (not sure if I'll finish all 4 years of my undergrad degree here; I might trasfer to another school) majoring in software engineering.  I might double major in number theory, if not I'd like to at least minor in it.

I'm not entirely sure where I'll be working when I graduate, but it's a long way ahead of me.  I plan on going to graduate school and possibly get a doctorate in something.  I want to stay in school for as long as possible.

Keep in mind that means alot of school loan bills you'll have to pay, assuming your taking out loans to pay for college.

So?

GameSnake

So you better be able to pay those bills off, obviously.  ???

Regardless of what you may think, I'm perceptive enough to realize this.

GameSnake

Then you obviously agree with me and should've just said "I agree".  :P

I personally think this would have been more suitable:

Anyways, I too am graduating this year.

I am going to UMR, and I will be majoring in CS.  I will try and attend graduate school there as well and possibly get my doctorate at UMR too.  It depends on how far I am willing to go.

For a job, I am not sure where I want to go.  My father owns a computer company that designs software/hardware/ and provides tech support to large companies and he offered me an internship there and suggested at me working there, but I am not sure I want to do that.  UMR offers a lot of internships and there are also companies that just recruit UMR graduates.. so we will see.

Provides tech support for large companies? How so? I mean don't large companies just buy "human farms" in India or China or something for thier tech support?

Haha - I don't know exactly what they are doing.  But I think it has something to do with them moderating their network and what not and when they need help they call them.  Or something like that.

If that doesn't answer your question, sorry.  I haven't really asked my Dad that specific question before.

I've heard of companys matching other companys up with Tech Support farms they "own" in India for example, maybe your dad does that? Either that or he is just a good old american tech support provider :).

I'd bet that you're currently bloated like a water ballon on a hot summer's day.

That analogy doesn't even make sense.  Why would a water balloon be especially bloated on a hot summer's day? For your sake, I hope there wasn't too much logic testing on your LSAT.
